We are pleased to announce the release of Glücksbringer by Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Wolfgang Matthes.

Glücksbringer was recorded on the beautiful Galiano Island in British Columbia at Wolfgang's House during a stop on Roedelius' US summer tour in June 2019 over the course of three days with doors wide open to the gardens, and Roedelius on an 103 year old Steinway upright accompanied by Matthes live on synth.

The nine tracks of Glücksbringer  find Roedelius at his best  - improvising in an intimate setting with an empathetic and responsive collaborator. Matthes proves to be an especially sensitive partner and rises to the inspired moment. Matthes also captured the pieces with warmth, depth and clarity on the spot with no overdubs.

Glücksbringer is available now as a DL with a small CD run limited to 300 numbered copies.
